A security flaw in the Poly Network system, a platform that facilitates interoperability between different blockchain, has been exploited by a group of hackers to steal $600 million in cryptocurrencies.
Within hours of the theft, the IP of the cybercriminal was identified and located, while it was requested to «blacklist» any movement coming from the addresses used by the thief.
So far, and pending further updates from Poly Network, the thief has returned $4,772,297.675 million in cryptocurrencies.  In addition, several addresses were left so that he could return the stolen cryptocurrencies.
Despite this return by the hacker the amount returned represents a low percentage of the entire loot. It is also not known why this amount was returned after the platform’s request.

Un proyecto de ley, apodado «Prohibición de las criptomonedas y regulación de las monedas digitales oficiales 2019», también se ha compartido, según se informa, con ciertos departamentos gubernamentales. Aunque no está claro a qué se refieren las «monedas digitales oficiales», el banco central del país estaba investigando previamente el lanzamiento de una rupia digital.
