Exchange of experiences in secondary reading and planning

Topic Presentation: «Communication. Communication has been defined as the exchange of feelings, opinions, or any other type of information through speech, writing.»- Transcription of the presentation:
Oral communication, it takes the intention to communicate (message) must be transmitted by means of a code. A shared language, through a physical medium (channel) that would be the voice. All this must be marked in a context, that is to say a place, situation or determined time. For there to be communication there must be two people, one who delivers the information (sender) and the other who receives it (receiver).
Characteristics of Oral Communication. The message is received through the ear (the message is heard). (the message is heard) There are two or more people interacting in a given place and time, therefore there is a response to the messages delivered until one of the two decides to end the conversation. One of the great characteristics of oral language is its spontaneity, that it is immediate and momentary, that is to say, it lasts only the instant it is emitted and the messages sent are born in the moment and have not been programmed beforehand. The messages emitted in an oral communication are created from the context and situation in which the communicative act takes place. In oral communication an informal language is used.

Comprehension of texts to acquire new knowledge

Secondly, the production of CME presents differences with respect to traditional writing related to its linkage to physical space. E-mails are, in principle, static and permanent, but deleting them has become a common procedure (it is a prominent option within the mail program management system) and it is possible to alter messages electronically with an ease and undetectability that does not exist when attempting to alter traditionally written texts. Messages in asynchronous chats and blogs tend to have a lasting character, but those in synchronous groups, virtual worlds and instant messaging do not. The literature on electronic media communication often refers to the persistence of the conversational message, i.e., the fact that it remains on the screen for a period of time (before the arrival of new messages replaces it or displaces it off the screen).
Thirdly, it is possible to observe differences between certain electronic written productions and other traditional ones if we ask ourselves to what extent they are complex, stilted or artificial. Certain productions are very similar to those that existed before. In particular, the web allows the same degree of planning and structural complexity that can be found in written and printed texts on paper. But in chat rooms, virtual worlds and instant messaging, where there is great pressure to communicate quickly, there is much less complexity and planning. Blogs vary enormously in complexity of construction. Some are highly crafted, others are completely erratic when judged according to the rules of standard written language. Emails vary as well. Some people have no qualms about sending texts without proofreading them at all, regardless of typos, misspellings and other anomalies; others take the same care to proofread their messages as if they were writing them outside an electronic environment.

The analysis of the conversation between structure and meaning.

Now that I am fully involved in the book presentation talks I am enjoying the opportunity I have to exchange opinions with other people, students and teachers, interested in the same topics as me: what it means to play an instrument, why we do it, how far we can go with it and what is the best way to get the most out of our effort.
I always insist on the need to use critical thinking, that is, not to take anything for granted and to question everything you have heard or usually do until you have experienced it in person and proven its effectiveness. It is at that point in the meeting when I emphasize to also test what I am saying in that talk, and if someone has other ideas or a different way of explaining that same concept, let them do so, so that everyone in the room is a winner.
Experience tells me that very few times we are faced with contradictory arguments, but very often concepts appear that have not been well analyzed or correctly explained. That is where I try to make an effort to synthesize and explain the same idea in a different way, until it is understandable to everyone. Sometimes it is enough to describe the concept in a little more detail, because perhaps that person has not had the opportunity to experience it or reflect on it, but sometimes a change of approach is necessary to make the idea more understandable. Sometimes I find that the new explanation is easier for everyone to understand and I incorporate it into my baggage. I have already learned something that day.
